About Cahuenga 24 Hour Self-Service Car Wash

Cahuenga 24 Hour Self-Service Car Wash is a self-service car wash in Los Angeles, California. It is listed at 1106 N Cahuenga Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90038, which places it among the local businesses of Los Angeles that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Car washes in the United States come in four main formats: the express tunnel, where you stay in the car while a conveyor pulls it through brushes or high-pressure jets; the full-service wash, where attendants vacuum and wipe down the interior after the tunnel; the self-service bay with a coin or card-operated pressure wand, foam brush and vacuums; and the hand wash, where a crew washes and dries the car by hand. Touchless tunnels skip the cloth brushes entirely and rely on chemicals and water pressure, which is gentler on paint but less effective on heavy grime. Most express chains sell an unlimited monthly plan, usually priced at two to three single washes, that is only worth it if you wash more than twice a month. Gas stations often bundle a discounted wash with a fill-up.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are Open 24 hours. Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Los Angeles is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

If you use a credit card they charge 20 dlls and if you wash your car before 6 minutes or something you’re charges 6 dlls but if you pass a second past that time you’ll be charged 20 dlls !!! What a ripoff!!! Don’t come here !!!

I came to this self-service car wash to clean my Mercedes Sprinter (high roof). The first thing I liked is that the bays are large — even a high-roof Sprinter fits easily without touching anything. However, overall I was very disappointed. First issue — pricing system. It doesn’t matter if you wash your car for 5–6 minutes or 20 minutes — you are charged $20 automatically. I think this is not fair. Second — lighting. Not all bays have proper lighting at night. If you come here late, you need to carefully choose a bay where the lights actually work. Third — equipment condition. In my bay, one of the floor mat holders was broken, so I could only hang one side of the mat while the other part stayed on the ground. Now the most important part — wash quality. I washed my car in two stages (pre-soak + rinse, then again with soap and high pressure). It took about 25 minutes total, but the result was very poor. The chemicals are weak — there were still bug marks on the car, and when you touch the surface, you can feel that it’s still dirty. I even attached photos and videos to show the real result. If you expect to wash a dirty car and get a clean, shiny result — this is not the plac

Decent enough machines. But when I was done at 8 minutes and 30 seconds ish, it continued on and wouldn't allow me to stop it till over 10 dollars.

Put in $4 in coins but was not enough time-- 4 minutes I think. I swiped my card to finish. Took an extra 2 minutes but the machine said the charge to my card would be $5! $5 for 2 minutes. And to top it off, the pending charge to my card was for $15. Called the credit card company but they said can't dispute a charge until it comes out of pending. Watch out! This place is slimy with cards. Use cash.
